After countless hours spent on "moving" the web server in a very short notice, and now we are BACK!
For those who had visited us for the last 48 hours, you realized that our site was suspended. This is because the web hosting company that was hosting our domain shut us down completely due to exceeding CPU usage and high traffic. We are not given prior notice before the shut down and it happened abruptly.
A BIG thanks to our dedicated web developers, we managed to move to a bigger, faster and better "home" and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenice caused.
During the migration process, some emails may have been lost and if you did not hear from us please feel free to send a reminder.

There have been some delays in implementing the DTS downmixing to stereo aka DTS decoding which is supposed to be enable via firmware release 081023 for HDX 1000 users. The delay was caused by outstanding licensing issues with DTS, which it took longer than anticipated to resolve and we are targeting to complete it by December.
Although this does not affect users with AVR (Audio Video Receiver) but we understand that there are a fair bit of users who have been waiting patiently for this update. We sincerely apologize for the delay and wish to assured all our loyal customers that this is currently the top priority TO DO list. |

It has been a truly hectic week for us, after the long holidays we had in China with backlogs piling up. We have been working over-time to clear the email backlogs and support requests. To share with you some updates, The HDX forum is still down for maintenance largely because we wanted to migrate to a different platform and the vendor that promised to do it, in the end did not deliver the result and we had to source for another vendor. The reason for migrating the forum because the current fireboard forum that we used cannot cater for large community. |

Hi HDXers,
The forum is temporary offline for upgrading and some maintenance work that needs to be done. We are considering migrating to phpBB too. If you have expertise in joomla fireboard and phpBB and would like to help, feel free to contact us.
For now, if you need help. Don't forget to visit our wiki page which contains most of the FAQ for new owners.
Thank you! |
